A refugee aid organization in Denver celebrated the completion of a donated 60-kilowatt solar system, which is expected to save the organization over $350,000 in the next 20 years.

Solar companies including SolarEdge Technologies, Apollo Energy, Pivot Energy, IronRidge, Greentech Renewables, and Rexel donated the system to Project Worthmore, a nonprofit organization providing support services to refugees in the Denver metropolitan area. The system will power the nonprofit's newly renovated 20,000-square-foot Denver campus.

"This solar power system will enable the Worthmore Project to reallocate thousands of dollars each month to initiatives that directly support the families we serve," said Frank Anello, Executive Director of the Worthmore Project. "We are deeply grateful to these companies for working together to make this project possible and helping ensure our new campus can continue serving the community in the future."

The solar power system is expected to eliminate most of Project Worthmore's electricity costs. These funds will be used to support educational programs, community initiatives, and shared spaces serving households and local organizations in the Denver metropolitan area.
